Kaci Bench

Inspired by George Nelson’s iconic mid century design, here is a new take on the Slat Bench. Unlike Nelson’s bench though, this one sits 18″ high (chair height).

The bench top is solid hardwood, available in Walnut and Maple. The legs are welded steel tube with plastic end caps to protect your flooring. The wood has a hand rubbed oil finish, and the legs are sprayed with a clear lacquer.

This bench is designed to be kept indoors, as prolonged exposure to the elements will take its toll on both the solid wood top and the steel legs. If you are looking for an outdoor bench, I offer a version of this bench made from Brazilian Ipe with Stainless Steel legs.
